betPawa elevates ugandan basketball with landmark national team sponsorship

betPawa has officially announced its sponsorship of Uganda's National basketball teams, the Silverbacks (Senior Men) and the Gazelles (Senior Women), for the next three years. 

The sponsorship agreement with the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) involves a substantial investment of UGX 2.6 Billion to support these teams until 2026. 

This partnership covers various expenses such as team training, travel, accommodation for tournaments, medical insurance, and supplements. Additionally, betPawa will directly reward players with UGX 150,000 per match for every win through their Locker Room Bonus initiative. 

This initiative aims to motivate players and recognize outstanding performance. Notably, this sponsorship marks the first time in East and Central Africa that a private company is supporting a national basketball team, setting a significant precedent in the region's sports sponsorship landscape.
