Winner Poker Series “Millón Histórico” in Bogotá ends with record Main Event field and an international final table
The WPS stop at Casino Hollywood Bogotá (14–26 January 2026) delivered a COP 3.246bn Main Event prize pool from 1,077 entries, with Colombia’s Sebastián Orjuela taking the title after a three-handed deal.
The Winner Poker Series (WPS) ran in Bogotá from 14 to 26 January 2026 at Casino Hollywood, promoted as a landmark Colombian festival with a total guaranteed pool of USD 1,000,000 (about COP 4.0bn).
The headline story was the “Millón Histórico” Main Event. PokerNoticias reports that the tournament closed registration at 1,077 entries (including re-entries), producing a COP 3,246,000,000 prize pool on a COP 3,000,000 buy-in — the biggest event the national circuit has seen.
Colombian pro Sebastián Orjuela lifted the trophy after the final nine played down to three and agreed a deal at the top. Orjuela received COP 390.4m, with Juan Sebastián de Villa (COP 286.3m) and Luis Cruz (COP 268.3m) completing the top three payouts.
Beyond the local storyline, the series had clear international weight. The Main Event final table included Ben Warrington (United Kingdom) and two Venezuelan finalists (Mamoun ElHinawi Quintero and Oscar Zavarce), underlining cross-border participation. In parallel events, CodigoPoker reported that American star Michael Mizrachi was among the High Roller qualifiers in Bogotá, alongside players from multiple Latin American countries.
With a record-setting field and an international mix at the top tables, WPS Bogotá 2026 looks like a meaningful step in positioning Colombia as a serious hub on the Latin American live-poker calendar — and it sets a new benchmark local organisers will be judged against next season.
