Vitality Sweep MOUZ to Win ESL Pro League Season 24 as ZywOo Claims 34th MVP

Team Vitality completed a dominant ESL Pro League Season 24 campaign by defeating MOUZ 3-0 in the Katowice grand final, while Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut secured the 34th MVP award of his career.

Team Vitality have won ESL Pro League Season 24, sweeping MOUZ 3-0 in the best-of-five grand final in Katowice on October 11 and securing their second consecutive tournament title.

Vitality took control of the final with a 13-8 win on Cache, followed by a 13-7 victory on Inferno. MOUZ offered stronger resistance on Dust2, but Vitality closed out the map 16-12 to complete the series without needing Mirage or Nuke.

Once again, the standout performer was Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut. The French star recorded a 1.65 rating in the grand final, finishing with 64 kills against 33 deaths and a 90.3 average damage per round.

His performance across the tournament was equally impressive. ZywOo finished ESL Pro League with a 1.43 overall rating, the highest at the event, and led all players in kills per round. He was subsequently named the tournament MVP — his sixth MVP award of 2026 and the 34th of his career, extending his all-time record.

Vitality’s victory followed their StarSeries Fall title in September and strengthens the team’s momentum heading into the closing part of the 2026 season. Their playoff run in Katowice included wins over PARIVISION, Aurora and MOUZ, with ZywOo posting ratings of 1.66, 1.44 and 1.65 respectively in those matches.

MOUZ finished second after reaching their third grand final of the season, having defeated Spirit in the semi-finals. Aurora took third place, while Spirit finished fourth. The tournament featured 16 teams and a $1 million prize pool, with Vitality receiving $125,000 for first place.

The result gives Vitality another major trophy and confirms that their mid-season slowdown has not ended their ability to dominate elite CS2 events. For ZywOo, the Katowice title adds another historic individual milestone to a career that continues to set the benchmark for consistency at the highest level.
