In a public notice, Advanced Gaming Limited known as 1X BET has officially informed the NLGRB of its closure in Uganda, ceasing all business operations with immediate effect. At the same time, the NLGRB is warning the public that Otrada Hospitality Limited, trading as Melbet, does not have the necessary license to conduct gaming or bookmaking activities in Uganda.

All customers and players were strongly advised to withdraw their funds as soon as possible and refrain from participating in any betting with either 1X BET or Melbet. This announcement serves as a precautionary measure to protect people from unauthorized gambling operators in Uganda.

This notice highlighted the need for customers to act quickly in response to the closure of 1X BET and Melbet's unauthorized operations in the country.
