Togo’s LONATO announces new 5/90 Lotto draw for Entente
The Togolese National Lottery (LONATO) has announced the launch of the Common Agreement Draw (TCE), an initiative that brings together Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger and Togo. This draw will take place from October 17 to November 7, 2024. During a press conference, Justin Amedome, Marketing Director of LONATO, revealed that this edition replaces the traditional scratch cards with a 5/90 lotto draw.
The draws will take place every Thursday at 6 p.m., in parallel with the Super Loto. Participants will have the chance to win amounts ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 CFA francs, as well as regional winnings ranging from 2 million to 20 million francs. The closing ceremony is scheduled for November 22 in Benin, where winners will try to win substantial prizes.
Mr. Amedome stressed that the jackpot was increased to encourage participation and support social projects in member countries. Each draw will determine one winner of the Regional Extraordinary Program (PER) and nine winners of the National Harmonized Program (PNH). PER winners will receive a travel bonus and a one-week stay in Cotonou.
LONATO also calls on participants to be vigilant against scams, specifying that no sum will be requested to collect winnings. This initiative aims to strengthen integration between member states while providing more opportunities for punters.
