The CS2 StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 tournament is expected very soon

The tournament will be held in several stages from November 24 to December 14, 2025, and the prize fund will be $1,250,000 USD.

STAGE 1: Swiss Group System (November 24-27, 2025)

It will be held at MTK Sportpark, Budapest.

STAGE 2: 16 teams (partially invited by VRS + the best from Stage 1) (November 29-December 2, 2025)

It will be held at MTK Sportpark, Budapest.

STAGE 3: 8 teams compete in the Playoffs (December 4-7)

It will be held at MTK Sportpark, Budapest.

STAGE 4: Single Elimination (December 11-14)

It will be held in the MVM Dome

Match format:

• Group stages — Swiss format, Bo1, decisive matches Bo3.
• Playoffs — all meetings in the Best-of-3 format.

Map pool includes six maps: Mirage, Inferno, Dust II, Train, Nuke, Ancient, Overpass

The full list of participants will be announced on October 8, 2025. At the moment, it is known that 32 teams will participate, invited directly by Valve, based on their positions in the VRS rating and regional quotas.

Guaranteed past VRS (Virtuoso) rated teams:

Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, Aurora, Falcons (the exact positions among the leaders are safe according to the rating)
