Team Vitality win BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 after sweeping NAVI in the Grand Final
BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 concluded on March 29 with Team Vitality beating Natus Vincere 3–0 in the Grand Final, extending one of the strongest runs in Counter-Strike this season and closing the event as clear champions.
BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 ran from March 18 to March 29, with the group stage held in Copenhagen before the arena playoffs moved to Rotterdam. The event featured 16 teams and a total prize pool of $1.1 million, with Vitality taking $150,000 for first place.
Vitality sealed the title with a 3–0 victory over NAVI in the final, winning Inferno 13–7, Anubis 13–10 and Dust2 13–10. According to HLTV, it was Vitality’s third big-event title in a row, underlining the team’s current dominance at the top of the CS2 scene.
The playoff phase also produced one of the tournament’s early turning points when The MongolZ eliminated Spirit 2–0 to secure the final playoff berth. That result reshaped the bracket and confirmed that Rotterdam would not be a straightforward event for the favorites. Vitality and NAVI then advanced through the arena stage to set up the championship match, where Vitality proved clearly stronger.
On the individual side, Robin “ropz” Kool was named tournament MVP after a standout playoff performance. HLTV reported that the Estonian rifler averaged a 1.54 rating in the arena and became the first Vitality player other than ZywOo to claim the outlet’s MVP medal.
For the wider esports scene, Rotterdam reinforced a simple message: Vitality are currently the benchmark team in elite Counter-Strike. A tournament that began with playoff surprises ended with a familiar conclusion, as the strongest roster in the field once again turned consistency into another major trophy.
