Taxes to increase for gambling industry in Belarus in 2024

Tax rates on gambling business have been raised in Belarus in 2024. The corresponding amendments have been made to the Tax Code of the country.

As follows from the decree, published on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus, the tax rate per gaming table is now Br8,443 ($2,575), which is Br589 more than in 2023.

The tax rate per gaming machine has increased from BYR 264 to BYR 284 (USD 87).

The tax rate for the cash desk of a totalisator is now BYR2,661 (USD812) instead of BYR2,475.

A bookmaker's office will have to pay a fee of 1,774 Belarusian rubles ($541). Last year the fee was 1,650 Belarusian rubles.
