African iGaming operator Sunbet and Scout Gaming Group sign deal for fantasy and sports betting products

Scout Gaming Group, a leading provider of fantasy and sports betting products, has recently secured a significant business-to-business (B2B) deal with Sunbet, a well-established African iGaming operator under the Sun International Group. This partnership will see Scout Gaming Group supply a wide range of fully localized products, including fantasy sports and sportsbook cross-sell options, as well as user acquisition and retention tools, to various Sunbet platforms.

The introduction of Scout's fantasy sports products will offer Sunbet users a unique and engaging experience, with exciting content centered around the most popular sports and leagues worldwide. Furthermore, the game mechanics will be tailored to match the specific preferences and demands of Sunbet's regional audiences.

The contract between Scout Gaming Group and Sunbet comprises of both fixed and variable components based on activity, resulting in a substantial estimated contract value. The products are expected to go live in the third quarter of 2024.

Simon Gregory, the CEO of Sunbet, emphasized the importance of customer experience and product development in driving their growth. He expressed excitement about partnering with Scout Gaming Group, highlighting that this collaboration will introduce a new and distinctive product to the South African market, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. Gregory also expressed optimism for a long and successful partnership between the two companies.
