SportPesa launches Tujiamini Initiative empowering Kenyan athletes and clubs
SportPesa, a leading online gaming firm, has launched the innovative Tujiamini Initiative in collaboration with DBA Africa to empower Kenyan athletes and clubs.
This initiative, aimed at nurturing talent in Kenya, focuses on elevating sports to new heights and providing essential support for local talent. The Tujiamini Initiative will offer over 30 million shillings to fund sporting dreams in 2024, with monthly rewards of up to KSh 3,000,000 for 87 winners across four categories.
SportPesa's CEO Ronald Karauri and Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba graced the event, emphasizing the initiative's commitment to identifying and empowering talented individuals in the sports sector.
The program includes award categories like Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Cheza Dimba, offering various monetary rewards and a three-year sponsorship deal for grassroots football teams.
Through Tujiamini, SportPesa aims to create a structured pipeline from grassroots to professional levels, supporting the growth and monetization of talents in Kenya's sporting ecosystem.
Interested individuals can apply through the Tujiamini website to uplift talents from grassroots levels and participate in this transformative initiative.
