South Africa's cricket teams to sport Dafabet logo in new partnership

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has officially announced Dafabet as the Team Associate Sponsor for both the Proteas Men’s and Women’s teams.

This three-year partnership will see Dafabet’s logo prominently displayed on the jerseys of the teams, with its debut on the Men’s jerseys during the upcoming T20 series against the West Indies in the Caribbean. CSA is enthusiastic about this collaboration, which aims to strengthen ties with global brands and enhance the visibility of cricket in South Africa.

CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to partner with a prominent leader in sports gaming, which will help us expand our reach and connect with new audiences."

John Cruces, Head of Sponsorship at Dafabet, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the pride in partnering with CSA as they aim to grow their presence in the sport. Dafabet, a well-known name in sports gaming, has previously sponsored various cricket events and teams, including being the Naming Partner of the Warriors franchise in South Africa.

Dafabet, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Makati, Philippines, is a leading online betting platform known for its extensive range of sports gaming options, including in-play betting and live streaming.

The company has established a strong presence in cricket sponsorship, previously partnering with various teams and events, which underscores its commitment to expanding its influence within the sport.

In Africa, Dafabet has made significant strides, particularly in the Kenyan market, where it launched operations to tap into the growing sports betting industry.

Dafabet has also been involved in sponsoring local teams, such as the Eastern Cape-based Warriors in South Africa, further solidifying its commitment to the African sports landscape.
