SOREC and Racing1 unite to elevate Morocco's international horse racing scene
Racing1 has partnered with SOREC (Société Royale d’Encouragement du Cheval) to introduce international horse racing to Morocco for the first time. According to RMG, this collaboration is a significant milestone, allowing local fans to access premier racing events globally through digital and retail channels.
By utilizing its global distribution network, Racing1 will provide Moroccan enthusiasts with a comprehensive racing experience at home, on-the-go, or in stores. Supported by partners Tabcorp, Racecourse Media Group (RMG), 1/ST CONTENT, and Arena Racing Company (ARC), this initiative will deliver daily racing content from the UK, North America, and Australia via SOREC, generating new revenue streams and enhancing visibility for esteemed racetracks.
The partnership aims to offer tailored solutions with 24/7 racing video, data services, and wagering options to engage both seasoned fans and newcomers needing educational resources. Racing1's schedule will ensure a continuous stream of content aligned with global sporting events, providing fast-settling betting opportunities across time zones.
Simon Fraser from Racing1 highlighted the partnership's significance: “The new Racing1 name symbolizes our commitment to enhancing access to international horse racing.” Omar Skalli, CEO of SOREC, emphasized that this collaboration enriches Moroccan fans' understanding of the sport by providing unprecedented access to international competitions.
