Singapore police arrest 47 in four-day multi-agency crackdown on illegal gambling and vice
Singapore police have arrested 47 people in a four-day, multi-agency enforcement operation targeting illegal gambling and related criminal activities across several districts, underscoring the city-state’s zero-tolerance stance ahead of the year-end period.
According to a police statement issued on Sunday, officers conducted coordinated raids between 3 and 6 December 2025, leading to the arrest of 10 men and 37 women aged between 20 and 88.
The operation, led by Tanglin Police Division and supported by the Health Sciences Authority, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, Central Narcotics Bureau and Singapore Civil Defence Force, targeted public entertainment outlets, massage establishments, residential units and commercial premises.
Initial reports indicate that suspects are being investigated for a range of offences, including illegal gambling, vice and employment-related breaches. Police said follow-up investigations are ongoing and emphasised that similar joint operations will continue as part of broader efforts to disrupt syndicates and maintain public order.
