Premier League Transfer Market Enters Final Month With New Post-World Cup Moves

As the Premier League window moves into August, clubs are shifting from headline spending to targeted deals, squad corrections and late-window opportunities.

Premier League clubs have entered the final month of the summer transfer window with several new storylines emerging after the first wave of post-World Cup deals.

The most eye-catching fresh rumour concerns Myles Lewis-Skelly. Manchester United are reportedly exploring whether a deal for the Arsenal player could be possible, adding another layer to their search for left-sided defensive options and midfield flexibility.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are moving closer to another major midfield statement. Reports suggest the club has agreed an £80 million deal for Bruno Guimarães, with a medical expected as the champions continue to build from a position of strength.

Hull City are one of the busiest newly promoted clubs. They are closing on a deal for Australian defender Lucas Herrington from Colorado Rapids after his strong World Cup campaign. Hull are also in talks for Nice winger Mohamed Ali-Cho, while Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey remains another name connected with the club.
