Premier Bet's K260 Million sponsorship boosts Malawi Super League
Premier Bet Malawi, a bookmaker, has committed to providing K260 million in financial backing to the Malawi Super League (Sulom). This pledge was made public during a charity event designed to gather funds for the support of Malawian football.
The financial aid will be distributed among the 16 teams in the league, with each team receiving 10 million crowns. Additionally, 20 million crowns will be set aside for the acquisition of team uniforms featuring the company's name.
Each month, the top team will be awarded 1.1 million Kwacha. Meanwhile, the most outstanding players and coaches will collectively receive 3.6 million Kwacha in incentives. Furthermore, 900 thousand kwacha has been earmarked to reward the best journalists.
