PMU Mali reports record profit of 22.5 billion FCFA, signaling strong growth
Kafogo Coulibaly, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PMU Mali, announced during the opening of the 61st Board meeting that the company achieved an exceptional profit of 22,585,163,605 FCFA in 2023, compared to 20,911,366,261 FCFA in 2022 and 6 billion FCFA in 2021.
This represents a 7.41% increase over 2022, a difference of 1,673,797,344 FCFA.
"PMU Mali, under the leadership of CEO Fasséry Doumbia, continues its growth," celebrated Kafogo Coulibaly. The company's total balance sheet increased from 46,612,163,869 FCFA in 2022 to 47,411,664,857 FCFA in 2023, a 1.7% rise and a difference of 799,500,988 FCFA.
Created in 1994, the Société du Pari Mutuel Urbain du Mali (PMU-MALI) will celebrate its 30th anniversary on September 1, 2024. It is a mixed economy company in which the Malian state holds a 75% majority stake of the 300 million FCFA capital, with the remaining 25% held by private shareholders.
