PMU Mali reports over 5 Billion FCFA distributed to players in August 2024
On September 18, PMU Mali announced that in August 2024, it distributed an impressive total of 5,489,641,500 FCFA among its players.
The largest recorded win during this period was FCFA 17,255,500, while the highest payout to an individual winner reached FCFA 17,267,500. Notably, the month saw the emergence of 346 new millionaires.
Gambling in Mali operates under Ordinance No. 2016-019/P-RM, established in 2016, which outlines the legal framework for lotteries and various gambling activities. This ordinance governs licensing, operator supervision, and player protection.
The Société du Pari Mutuel Urbain du Mali is the regulatory body overseeing gambling activities in the country. As a mixed-economy entity, PMU Mali is tasked with managing horse racing betting and ensuring compliance with national gambling regulations while enhancing the gaming experience for players across Mali.
