Philippine casino revenue up 20% in Q3 2023
The gross gaming revenue of licensed casinos in the Philippines stood at PHP 68.8 billion (USD 1.24 billion) in the third quarter of 2023. This is according to a report by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) that was released recently.
According to the contents of the document, revenue increased by 20.1% compared to the same period last year. Compared to the second quarter of 2023, revenue increased by PHP 12.19 billion.
Manila's four integrated resorts - City of Dreams Manila, Okada Manila, Resorts World Manila and Solaire Resort & Casino - generated revenue of P42.7 billion, down 1.8% from a year earlier.
The commercial casino cluster in the Clark Freeport Zone and the Luzon Casino cluster generated revenue of P8.9 billion, up 14%.
PAGCOR-operated casinos generated total revenue of PHP 4.94 billion, up 6.8% year-on-year.
