Online sports betting volume breaks record in New York in October 2023

In October 2023, online sports betting volume in the US state of New York was $2.006 billion, a record high. This follows from the report of the Gambling Commission, published recently on the regulator’s website.

Gross gaming revenue for the state's eight online operators reached $166.33 million, down $234 million from the record $165.57 million set in September this year.

The leader in online betting volume was the operator DraftKings, which accepted $881.9 million in bets. FanDuel took in $652 million in bets, finishing in second place. Caesars Sportsbook closed the top three with $120 million.
