Odibets partners with Homa Bay County in Kenya for Genowa Governor's Cup 2024
Betting firm Odibets has officially been unveiled as the title sponsor for the third edition of Homa Bay County’s annual sports event in Kenya, now rebranded as the Odi Genowa Governor’s Cup.
The tournament, which commenced on November 16, 2024, will culminate with grand finals scheduled for December 26 and 27 at Raila Odinga Stadium. The winning team will take home a grand prize of Ksh 1 million, while all participating teams receive cash rewards and kits.
“This sponsorship is about more than sports—it’s about giving back and creating opportunities for young people in Kenya,” said Dedan Mungai, Odibets General Manager.
The Odi Genowa Governor’s Cup has evolved into one of Kenya’s largest grassroots sports festivals, featuring football, netball, and volleyball. It aims to nurture local talent and boost community participation, aligning with the strategic vision of Governor Gladys Wanga and Odibets.
