Nigeria's National Lottery Trust Fund launches campaign to promote responsible gaming
The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) has launched a nationwide sensitization campaign aimed at enhancing and promoting lottery activities across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.
During the event, Executive Secretary Comrade Tosin Adeyanju highlighted the NLTF's successful execution of various intervention projects funded through a portion of betting proceeds remitted to the government. He emphasized that these funds are dedicated to "GOOD CAUSES" that benefit communities throughout the country.
Adeyanju urged Nigerians to engage in lottery activities responsibly, cautioning against being solely drawn in by the potential benefits of gaming. He reassured attendees that the NLTF is committed to channeling remittances into initiatives that support the underprivileged.
This sensitization initiative marks the beginning of a broader campaign designed to advocate for responsible gaming practices while raising awareness about the positive impacts of lottery proceeds on local communities. The NLTF aims to maximize the benefits of lottery gaming for societal good while mitigating any negative consequences, thus encouraging Nigerians to contribute to community development.
