Nigeria's lottery sector poised for growth as NLTF and NLRC strengthen partnership
During a recent courtesy visit to the Director-General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) in Abuja, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), emphasized his commitment to enhancing collaboration with the Commission. This partnership aims to benefit the lottery industry and its stakeholders across Nigeria.
Both Adeyanju and the NLRC's chief executive have expressed their dedication to working together to deliver value to Nigerians through improved lottery services. This collaboration was highlighted in a post on the NLRC's Twitter account on August 6.
Tosin Adeyanju's appointment as Executive Secretary of the NLTF was officially announced by President Bola Tinubu in July 2024, succeeding Dr. Bello Maigari. Adeyanju is recognized for his advocacy of good governance and is expected to promote transparency and efficiency within the NLTF, which plays a crucial role in supporting national development through its initiatives.
Before taking on this role, Adeyanju served as the Head of Integrated Support Services at DAI, where he worked since September 2018. His extensive experience positions him well to lead the NLTF into a new era focused on accountability and stakeholder engagement.
