New scratchcard format blends rapid gameplay with instant rewards

Gaming Corps a publicly-listed game development company based in Sweden, has launched Instant Blitz, a new product vertical, with its first release also titled Instant Blitz, designed around quick-fire gameplay and instant rewards.

As the first title within the new Instant Blitz vertical, Instant Blitz starts with four rounds on a 3x6 active grid, where clusters of three or more matching symbols award prizes that are added to a central Prize Pot. As symbols are collected, new ones spawn into place, keeping the action moving and the format easy to pick up from the first round.

That pace is reinforced by a set of collectible features that can quickly change the shape of the game. Lightning symbols activate an inactive row and expand the grid up to 6x6, opening up more ways to win, while Wheel symbols unlock a bonus with guaranteed rewards ranging from 5x to 1,000x the stake.

The experience builds further through Multiplier and Extra Rounds symbols. The Multiplier feature doubles the total Prize Pot win, while Extra Rounds award two additional rounds, extending play and giving players more chances to push their total return higher.

Alexandros Mavroudis, Product Owner at Gaming Corps, said: “Instant Blitz is an exciting launch for us because it introduces a new way of thinking about scratchcard-style content. We wanted to create something that keeps the immediacy players expect from the format but adds more structure and points of anticipation within a single session. The result is a game that feels fast and accessible on the surface but has far more going on underneath.”

He added: “From expanding grids and collectible features to guaranteed rewards and Prize Pot progression, Instant Blitz gives operators something that sits in a distinctive space between traditional instant win and more feature-led game design. It is a format that can appeal to a broad audience while still offering enough variation and momentum to keep the experience engaging.”

The release also supports low entry stakes, with bets starting from as little as 5p, making Instant Blitz a flexible low-entry addition for operators looking to expand their instant win range with a format that blurs the lines between scratchcard and slot.
