New Jersey gambling revenue up 9% in October 2023
Gross gaming revenue (GGR) of casinos, racetracks and online operators in the US state of New Jersey reached $487.1 million in October 2023. This was reported in the monthly report of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Control (DGE), published recently.
According to the contents of the document, compared to October 2022, income increased by 9.3%.
Atlantic City's land-based casinos generated $228.1 million in revenue in October 2023, up 3.4% from the year before. Slot machine revenue reached $163.0 million and table gaming revenue reached $65.1 million.
$166.8 million in revenue was generated from online gambling, up 13.3% from October 2022.
Sports betting revenue rose 18.4% to $92.3 million.
The Borgata casino received the largest income from Atlantic City gambling establishments - $56.9 million. The top three also included Ocean Casino Resort ($43.4 million) and Hard Rock ($41.2 million). Let us remind you that there are nine casinos in Atlantic City: Bally's, Borgata, Caesars, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Harrah's, Ocean Casino Resort, Resorts and Tropicana.
