Nevada casino revenues top $1.27 billion in September 2023
The gross gaming revenue of more than 400 casinos operating in the US state of Nevada exceeded a billion dollars in September 2023 for the 31st month in a row. This follows from a financial report published on October 31 on the website of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
According to the document, gaming revenue for the reporting period amounted to $1.27 billion, which is 1.68% more than in September 2022. Compared to August of this year, gambling revenue increased by $600 million.
$815 million of casino revenue was attributable to slot machines, down 5.12% from the year before. Board games generated $456 million in revenue. The largest table game revenue came from baccarat, at $149 million. Next comes blackjack - $98 million.
Las Vegas Strip casino revenues reached $741 million, up 6.9% from a year earlier.
