Nevada casino revenue up 2.7% in October 2023
The gross gaming revenue of more than 400 casinos operating in the US state of Nevada exceeded a billion dollars in October 2023 for the 32nd month in a row. This follows from a financial report recently published on the website of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
According to the document, gaming revenue for the reporting period amounted to $1.32 billion, which is 2.69% more than in October 2022. Compared to September of this year, gambling revenue increased by $50 million.
$895 million of casino revenue was attributable to slot machines, up 2.00% from the prior year. Board games generated revenue of $1,420 million. The largest table game revenue came from blackjack, at $114 million. Next comes baccarat - $90 million.
Las Vegas Strip casino revenues reached $714 million.
