National Lottery of Tanzania partners with Mixx by Yas to enhance digital access

The National Lottery of Tanzania has announced a strategic partnership with Mixx by Yas, aiming to improve accessibility and engagement ahead of its anticipated launch. This collaboration will streamline lottery ticket purchases and winning claims through digital platforms, making participation more convenient for Tanzanians.

By leveraging the extensive customer database of Yas Tanzania, the partnership will enable lottery players to buy tickets via mobile money services, USSD codes, and the Mixx by Yas app. This move is expected to modernize the lottery experience and increase participation across the country.

Speaking at the launch, Angelica Pesha, Chief Executive Officer of Mixx by Yas, highlighted the significance of the partnership. “Today marks a historic collaboration between Yas Tanzania and the National Lottery of Tanzania. We hope this partnership will usher in a new era for the gaming industry in the country, driving continued growth,” she stated.

In a statement shared on Mixx by Yas' official Facebook page, Pesha emphasized the company’s leadership in innovation, ensuring that their services align with customer needs and the evolving mobile financial services market.

The National Lottery of Tanzania also confirmed the partnership on its official Instagram page, stating, “It’s official! The National Lottery has partnered with Mixx by Yas to bring easy and secure lottery ticket purchasing to millions of Tanzanians. Through Yas’ digital platforms, including mobile money services and the Mixx by Yas app, customers will have seamless access to play, win, and enjoy the National Lottery.”
