National Lottery of El Salvador signs sponsorship deal to support national football teams

The National Charity Lottery (Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia) and the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT) have officially signed a sponsorship agreement aimed at supporting El Salvador’s national football teams.

During a press conference, Lotería President Javier Milián emphasized the institution’s strong belief in the national squads:

"We have chosen to believe—that’s why we’re backing FESFUT and the work being done with our national teams. We believe El Salvador has a real opportunity to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. As Lotería, we continue to support national sports," Milián stated.

FESFUT President Humberto Sáenz Marinero also shared his gratitude during the event:

"Today is a very special day for us as we welcome a great institution—the National Charity Lottery—into the football family. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Javier Milián for his valuable support of national football, a commitment that will benefit all of our teams."

He also expressed appreciation to Yamil Bukele, honorary president of INDES (the National Institute of Sports of El Salvador), for his ongoing commitment:

"I want to thank President Yamil Bukele for his steadfast support of sports development in El Salvador and his role in building a better future for our footballers. We have chosen to believe," said Sáenz, who also heads the FESFUT normalization committee.

The head coach of the men’s national team also welcomed the partnership:

"This support from the Lottery brings us peace of mind. We are very optimistic about working with El Salvador."

This long-term sponsorship project marks a collaborative effort between Lotería and FESFUT to strengthen national football, with the shared goal of seeing the blue and white jersey compete on the global stage.
