National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire freezes approvals for Loto Bonheur lottery machines
Loterie Nationale de Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI) has announced a temporary suspension of approvals for the opening of new Loto Bonheur points of sale, commonly referred to as Loto machines. The announcement was made on November 29 through the organization’s official Facebook page, specifying that no new requests for approval or machines will be processed until further notice.
In a statement, LONACI’s General Management expressed gratitude to partners, customers, and the Ivorian public for their continued support of its offerings.
Established on March 20, 1970, LONACI operates as a public limited company with majority public financial participation and a share capital of 400 million FCFA. Its mission is to provide gaming platforms while mobilizing public savings to fund social development initiatives, thereby contributing to Côte d'Ivoire’s economic and social growth. Loto Bonheur, one of LONACI’s flagship products, is a widely popular lottery game featuring automated machines for easy and fast participation.
