The National Lottery Authority (NLA) of Liberia announced on November 13 via their Facebook account that they are opening international competitive bids for the 5/90 Lotto Game.
The bidding process is scheduled to start on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the NLA’s Conference Room. This initiative aims to launch the 5/90 Lotto Game, which is intended to generate revenue for the Liberian government while providing citizens with a legal means to earn income.
This tender notice is consistent with the mandates outlined in Sections 6.1 to 6.3 of the NLA Act of 2014, emphasizing the authority’s commitment to promoting lawful and responsible gaming activities.
Established on March 6, 2015, the NLA is responsible for regulating games of chance throughout Liberia, ensuring compliance with legal standards and encouraging responsible gaming practices. Through this oversight, the NLA seeks to create a secure and organized environment for the lottery and gambling sectors, contributing to national revenue while offering structured opportunities for economic participation.
