National Lottery Authority enhances monitoring and evaluation skills in Liberia
The National Lottery Authority (NLA) of Liberia has successfully concluded a three-day Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) training workshop for its M&E Department in Monrovia. Held from September 18 to 20, 2024, the workshop aimed to enhance the capacity of NLA staff, focusing specifically on the M&E Department's capabilities.
Facilitated by Research Management and Consortium Incorporated (RMC), the training was designed to expand staff knowledge and skills in monitoring, evaluation, tracking, and reporting within the gaming and gambling industry. At the conclusion of the event, NLA’s Deputy Director General for Administration, Hon. Ennish Lamie Fahnbulleh, praised the initiative and encouraged the M&E Department to apply the practical knowledge gained for the benefit of NLA and Liberia.
RMC's Chief Executive Director, Mr. Josephus K. Zumo, noted that the training effectively advanced ideas and skills among participants. Representing the attendees, NLA’s Deputy Director for M&E, Mr. Armah B. Kamara, expressed gratitude to both NLA management and RMC for the valuable training initiative, committing to improve reporting mechanisms in Liberia's gaming sector.
