Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board of Uganda embrace transparency in Jinja's gaming sector
The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board of Uganda led by Chairman Aloysius Mugasa Adyeri, visited city of Jinja to promote responsible gaming, introduce the National Lottery, and foster relationships with local leaders and stakeholders.
The Board engaged in a live broadcast, discussing responsible gaming practices and the potential benefits of the National Lottery for Jinja. A comprehensive stakeholder meeting was held with city area leaders to discuss collaborative opportunities and the introduction of the National Lottery, highlighting its economic advantages. The Board emphasized the importance of responsible gaming and outlined initiatives and educational programs aimed at promoting awareness and preventing gambling-related issues.
Inspections were conducted at various gaming premises in Jinja to ascertain compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement.
Chairman Mugasa Adyeri expressed optimism about the visit's outcomes and the Board's commitment to working closely with local leaders and stakeholders.
