Morocco's MDJS engages in international dialogue on sports integrity at Lausanne seminar
La Marocaine Des Jeux et des Sports (MDJS) participated in the ULIS Integrity Seminar 2024, held on November 26-27, 2024, at the Olympic Museum Auditorium in Lausanne, Switzerland. The seminar was themed "Taking Sports Integrity to the Next Level," aiming to actively contribute to the advancement of integrity within the sports sector.
Represented by Lamia Jassab, Sara Benbouzid, Khalid Naili, and Driss Lazrak, MDJS reaffirmed its commitment as a key player in preserving sports integrity, combating the manipulation of sporting competitions, and fighting illegal gambling. This participation aimed to enhance collaboration with global stakeholders and explore innovative solutions to promote integrity in sports, thereby contributing to a more ethical and transparent sporting environment worldwide.
As Morocco's state-owned sports-betting monopoly, MDJS plays a crucial role in regulating gambling activities within the country, which has a population of approximately 38 million. The organization is dedicated to promoting responsible gambling practices and protecting minors from gambling-related harm. MDJS actively works to combat illegal betting and ensure that all gaming operations adhere to strict ethical standards.
