Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 esports qualifiers go live, with Fortnite, Valorant and EA SPORTS FC 26 on the road to Rabat finals

Registration opened on 14 February and the first online stages are now underway, feeding into March–April qualifiers and a May play-in before the live finals at Morocco Gaming Expo in Rabat.

Morocco’s esports calendar is ramping up as the qualification path to the Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 finals begins to take shape across three flagship titles: Fortnite, Valorant and EA SPORTS FC 26.

Organisers have set a multi-stage format that starts with open registration (from 14 February) and runs through three qualifier windows in March and April, followed by a play-in on 2–3 May and the in-person finals during Morocco Gaming Expo from 20–24 May in Rabat. The expo itself is scheduled for 20–24 May 2026 at Sofitel Jardin des Roses and is organised by Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Communication Department).

On the competitive side, the tournament formats are designed to mirror each title’s core scene: Fortnite is set up as a duo competition, Valorant as a 5v5 format, and EA SPORTS FC as a solo tournament, with cash prizes published at MAD 100,000 for Fortnite, MAD 100,000 for Valorant and MAD 60,000 for EA SPORTS FC.

With the finals anchored inside the expo’s main arena in Rabat, the 2026 circuit is positioning itself as more than a one-off event: it’s a structured national pathway that rewards consistency across multiple online stages before the pressure test of a live championship week.
