Lottotech, the operator of the Mauritius National Lottery, and Singapore Pools, Singapore’s sole authorized lottery and sports wagering operator, have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), according to the World Lottery Association (WLA) announcement on December 10, 2024.

As WLA members, the two organizations aim to explore collaborative opportunities and share expertise in market analysis, talent development, and operational practices. This partnership is expected to strengthen their respective operations and advance industry standards.

“We are proud to foster closer collaborations between WLA members, helping industry players improve systems and practices for the benefit of our customers and the public,” said Singapore Pools CEO Lam Chee Weng.

Lottotech CEO Moorghen Veeramootoo highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “This MoU with Singapore Pools marks a key milestone for Lottotech. Our decade-long commitment to responsible gaming and operational excellence in Mauritius has paved the way for collaboration with one of Asia’s most respected gaming institutions. We look forward to sharing expertise in market intelligence, talent development, and operational efficiency to elevate industry standards.”

Lottotech, established in 2009, operates with a focus on responsible gaming, innovation, and community support. A significant portion of its proceeds benefits local charities and development initiatives in Mauritius. As a trusted operator, it prioritizes integrity, transparency, and customer engagement, contributing to both the gaming industry and socio-economic progress.

This MoU underscores the mutual commitment of Lottotech and Singapore Pools to advancing the lottery and gaming sectors globally while promoting responsible gaming practices.
