Man City Close to Long-Term Contract Agreement with Savinho
Manchester City are finalizing a new long-term deal with Brazilian winger Savinho, aiming to secure his future and fend off rival interest, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The club has entered advanced talks with the 21-year-old, with the new contract expected to run until June 2031. Sources close to the negotiations suggest the agreement is already approved at board level and is now only awaiting official confirmation.
City turned down multiple approaches from Tottenham during the summer transfer window, underlining their determination to keep Savinho as part of their long-term project. Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that the club is “close” to finalizing the deal, reflecting the player’s growing importance in the squad.
Savinho himself is reportedly ready to sign the extension, putting an end to speculation about a possible move away from the Etihad. If completed, the contract will strengthen City’s strategy of retaining young talents and securing stability in key positions.
