Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority has closed applications for national lottery licenses
The Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) last week concluded the acceptance of applications for National Lottery licenses. The initiative complied with the regulations set out in Section 32 (1) of the Gambling and Lotteries Act (Act No. 34 of 2022).
Potential applicants were advised to comply with all procedural requirements set out in the Request for Proposals (RFP) document. This document not only provides detailed instructions on how to submit proposals, but also defines the evaluation criteria used by MAGLA in the licensing process.
To access the RFP, interested parties could purchase it from the MAGLA office. Access could be obtained either through a cash payment of one million kwacha (MK 1 Million) or a bank transfer to a designated MAGLA account.
