Macau gross gaming revenue up 7% in Q3 2023

Gross gaming revenue from Macau casinos in the third quarter of 2023 was MOP 48.96 billion (USD 6.07 billion). This was revealed in a report released on October 16 by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) of the Special Administrative Region of China.
According to the contents of the document, Macau casino revenues increased by 7.29% compared to the second quarter, when they reached MOP 45.49 billion.
Mass segment baccarat generated MOP 29.77 billion, up 10.75% from the previous quarter.
VIP Baccarat revenue was MOP 11.77 billion, down 3.13% from Q2 2023.
The top three in terms of income were closed by slot machines with an indicator of 2.85 billion patacas.
In the third quarter of 2023, there were 30 casinos, including satellite casinos, operating in the special administrative region of China.
13 gambling establishments operated under a license and sublicense from the operator SJM Holdings, 5 belonged to Venetian Casino, 4 each to Galaxy Casino and Melco Resorts, 2 each to Wynn Resorts and MGM. A total of 12,000 slot machines and 6,000 gaming tables were installed in Macau casinos.
