Lottery sales up 4% in Colombia in 2023
Lottery sales increased in Colombia in 2023. The gambling regulator Coljuegos announced this recently. According to the contents of the document, sales of the so-called territorial games, which include land-based lotteries held in the provinces, the Raspa y Listo game and the Chance Game, amounted to 3,592,589 billion Colombian pesos (USD 910 million).
Compared to 2022, lottery sales increased by 4%.
546.5 billion Colombian pesos were allocated for health needs from the territorial games. Another 453.8 billion pesos came to the Colombian budget in the form of value added tax.
