Longa Games introduces revamped scratch card game in DR Congo
The Longa Games company has officially launched "Esimbi," a revamped version of the popular scratch card game, in the Democratic Republic of Congo on November 25. Priced at 1,000 FC, the game can be purchased from authorized resellers, where players simply scratch off a designated area. Winning is determined by matching three identical symbols, with the prize amount displayed on the back of the card. Players must then present the card to resellers for immediate payment of their winnings, which are proportional to their stake.
Founded in 2021, Longa Games is making strides in the gambling industry, offering various products including Longa Loto and Longa Bet, as well as its newly launched digital platform, longa.bet. The company has established multiple centers across Kinshasa and plans to expand into other provinces.
In the DRC, gambling is legal and regulated, encompassing casinos, sports betting, and lotteries under government supervision. This regulatory framework aims to encourage responsible gambling practices while addressing illegal operations.
