LONACI launches innovative hackathon to transform the tottery industry in Ivory Coast
Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, the Director General of the National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI), officially launched the "Hackathon Lonaci" on Friday, September 20, 2024, in Abidjan-Port-Bouët.
This initiative aims to engage startups in driving innovation by harnessing digital technology to boost the lottery's growth and explore new game ideas for the expanding digital segment. Mr. Coulibaly made the announcement in the presence of the president of Comici, technical partners, and members of LONACI's management committee.
The Hackathon, which runs from September 20 to November 8, offers participants the chance to register via the official website, with five winning projects to be selected for further development.
LONACI, renowned for its commitment to modernization and innovation, continues to play a pivotal role in Ivory Coast's gaming industry, contributing significantly to the country's economy through various initiatives. As part of its mission, LONACI is dedicated to fostering a vibrant ecosystem for digital entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.
