LONAB supports Burkina Faso's artisans with 50 million CFA francs

The National Lottery of Burkina Faso (LONAB) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting artisans in their pursuit of excellence and success. On October 30, 2024, the General Director of LONAB, Ibrahim Ben Harouna Zarani, visited the LONAB teams deployed at the Ouagadougou International Arts and Crafts Fair (SIAO) to show his appreciation and encouragement for their work.

During his visit, Zarani emphasized that LONAB will continue to support artisans, stating that the organization is proud to be a part of the SIAO, a major event that highlights African craftsmanship and contributes to the cultural and economic development of Burkina Faso. LONAB, as an official sponsor, has contributed 50 million CFA francs to support the organization of the 17th edition of SIAO.

This support is part of LONAB's broader commitment to backing state initiatives in creativity, innovation, and socio-economic development. Zarani also outlined LONAB's objectives for the event, including promoting and selling their products, such as lottery tickets and sports betting, and launching a new game called Faso Loto 5/90.

LONAB's teams at SIAO are actively promoting and selling these products from their stand in the "Soleil Levant" pavilion. Zarani's visit aimed to reinforce the message that LONAB stands with artisans in Burkina Faso, Africa, and the Sahel region, supporting all initiatives in creativity and innovation.

He praised the work of the artisans and all participants, wishing them success in the fair, which offers numerous opportunities. Zarani also thanked LONAB's clientele, without whom the organization could not support state development actions.

LONAB's participation in the 17th edition of SIAO includes reinforcing its visibility and achieving sales projections. The General Director reiterated that LONAB will always be alongside the artisans to support them in their endeavors.
