Lithuania's gross gambling revenue increased by 15% in 9 months of 2023
Lithuania's gross gaming revenue for the period from January 1 to September 30, 2023 amounted to EUR 161 million. This follows from a report by the Lithuanian Gambling Supervision Authority published on November 10.
Compared to the same period in 2022, when the figure was 139.8 million euros, gambling revenue increased by 15.16%.
Online gambling revenues increased by 24% to €107 million.
€69.5 million (43%) of online gambling revenue came from Category A online slots with unlimited payouts, and €34.9 million from online sports betting. Revenue from Category B slot machines, which limit bets to €0.50 per spin and have a win cap of 200 times the original bet, was €22.9 million (14%). Income from sports betting amounted to 26.13 million euros.
Land-based gambling revenues rose 0.3% to €54 million.
