Liberia's National Lottery Authority announces bidding for 5/90 Balls Lottery Game

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) of Liberia has officially announced an international competitive bidding process for the operation of the 5/90 Balls Lottery Game. This initiative aims to enhance revenue collection for the Liberian government and provide citizens with a legal avenue to generate income, in line with sections 6.1 to 6.3 of the NLA Act of 2014.

The tender, issued on October 2, 2024, invites qualified local and international bidders to submit proposals for the supply, delivery, and management of the 5/90 lottery game. The deadline for bid submission is set for November 15, 2024.

The NLA has secured approval from its Board of Directors and the Public Procurement Concessions Commission (PPCC) to proceed with this project, which is in accordance with Liberia's PPC Act of 2010. The project is also part of the NLA’s 2024 procurement plan.

The NLA is inviting sealed bids from qualified local and international bidders for the supply, delivery, and management of the lottery game according to the technical specifications in the bidding documents.

To qualify, bidders must submit a company profile, valid business registration, tax clearance, a bid securing declaration, and a record of past performance in similar lottery games.

All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by November 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM, and will be opened publicly on the same day.

Interested bidders can obtain further information from the NLA's Procurement Unit in Monrovia.
