Leon launches operations in Tanzania, paving the way for African expansion
LeonBet has officially launched its operations in Tanzania, marking the company's entry into the African market as part of a broader expansion strategy that aims to cover 20 countries by 2024.
On their LinkedIn account, the company expressed their confidence and ambition, stating, "This powerhouse team is ready to make waves and lead the charge as we officially launch LEONBET Tanzania. We’re not here to take part; we’re here to dominate!"
The licenses, granted by the Tanzania Gaming Board, allow Leon to offer both casino and sports betting products in the region. Tanzania has been strategically chosen as the first market for Leon's African journey, highlighting the country’s potential as a key player in the growing digital entertainment sector on the continent.
Jérôme J. Dufourg, Leon's Regional Director of Operations for Africa, emphasized the significance of this launch, noting that it marks the beginning of a new era for the company in Africa. He highlighted Leon’s commitment to setting industry benchmarks and delivering innovative digital entertainment solutions as it continues to expand its global footprint.
Founded in 2007, LeonBet is known for its comprehensive sportsbook and casino offerings, featuring competitive odds on various sports such as football, tennis, and cricket. With a focus on user experience, security, and 24/7 customer support, LeonBet aims to provide a reliable and engaging platform for bettors around the world.
