La Marocaine des Jeux et des Sports (MDJS), the state lottery offering sports betting and other games of chance in Morocco, has announced the publication of a new coffee table book titled "Sport in Morocco, Achievements and Legends," in collaboration with Éditions Économiques du Maroc.

This 320-page volume celebrates Morocco's rich sports heritage and pays homage to the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who has significantly influenced the development of sports in the country over the past 25 years.

The book highlights the remarkable achievements of Moroccan athletes, including their performances at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, world championships, and various regional competitions. It also honors influential figures and leaders in Moroccan sports, acknowledging their vital contributions to the nation's athletic legacy.

Additionally, the publication showcases major international sporting events that Morocco has hosted, reinforcing the country's reputation as a global hub for sports.

Younes El Mechrafi, MDJS General Manager, expressed pride in the year-long effort to produce this work, stating that future editions will include the accomplishments of Moroccan athletes at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

To ensure accessibility, MDJS has made a digital version of the book available for free download on its website, emphasizing that this tribute to Morocco's tangible and intangible heritage is meant for all citizens. The physical book can be obtained through the distribution channels of Éditions Économiques du Maroc.
