Kenya Arbitrage Betting Weekly Report: August 3 9, 2026
Kenya Arbitrage Betting Weekly Report (August 3–9, 2026)
WorkBet statistics for August 3–9, 2026 reveal 69,023 arbitrage opportunities across the monitored market, with 1xBet returning as Kenya’s leading bookmaker and Odibets and SportPesa also increasing activity.
Football accounted for 61,646 opportunities, or 89.3% of the weekly total, strengthening its position as the market’s primary source of surebets. Tennis ranked second with 2,509 opportunities (3.6%), followed by basketball with 2,374 (3.4%). Compared with the previous week, football increased its share from 85.3% to 89.3%, making the arbitrage market even more concentrated around a single sport.
The profitability profile remained relatively stable. 46.83% of all surebets delivered returns below 1%, while 42.20% fell into the 1–5% range. Together, these categories represented just over 89% of all opportunities, while only 1.32%exceeded the 20% profit threshold. Despite the substantial increase in total volume, low-margin opportunities therefore continued to define the market.
Opportunity lifespan remained favorable, although the share of very short-lived surebets increased. 48.85% of opportunities stayed available for 3–10 minutes, while 24.81% lasted longer than 31 minutes. At the same time, 7.03%disappeared within three minutes, up from 4.39% in the previous week, reinforcing the importance of fast scanning and execution.
Across the overall WorkBet dataset, BetCity remained the most active bookmaker with 23,782 opportunities, ahead of Olimpbet (20,899) and 1xBet (17,048). Fonbet and Marathonbet completed the overall top five. Within the Kenya-focused segment, 1xBet moved into first place with 17,048 opportunities, followed by Odibets (6,167), SportPesa (4,799), MozzartBet (1,384) and Betika (768).
The week’s biggest change was the return of 1xBet activity. After producing only 68 opportunities during July 27–August 2, the bookmaker generated 17,048 in the latest reporting period. Odibets and SportPesa also increased their weekly volumes, indicating that the expansion in Kenya-focused arbitrage activity extended beyond a single operator. Among filtered opportunities (minimum 3% profit and at least three minutes of lifetime), 1xBet–Odibets became the leading pair with 2,175 qualifying surebets and an average profit of 11.18%. BetCity–Olimpbet followed with 1,285 opportunities at 7.10%, while 1xBet–BetCity generated 832 at an average profit of 6.29%. Other Kenya-linked combinations included BetCity–SportPesa with 295 opportunities at 8.79% and Marathonbet–Odibets with 276 at 9.45%.
The weekly average profit reached 2.48%, up slightly from 2.43% in the previous period, while the longest-lived surebet remained available for 166 hours and 17 minutes. Based on the WorkBet benchmark of $200 turnover over eight hours, the estimated earning potential reached $3,984. Overall, the latest WorkBet statistics show a significantly more active and increasingly football-driven arbitrage market. 1xBet returned as the leading Kenya-focused bookmaker, while Odibets and SportPesa also expanded their activity. The emergence of 1xBet–Odibets as the leading filtered bookmaker pair became the week’s most important structural change.
