Kenya Arbitrage Betting Weekly Report: August 24 30, 2026

Kenya Arbitrage Betting Weekly Report (August 24–30, 2026)

The Kenya-focused arbitrage betting market expanded significantly during August 24–30, 2026, with WorkBet recording 83,999 qualifying arbitrage opportunities, up from 65,726 in the previous reporting period. The week was defined by higher overall volume, a more diversified sports mix, and stronger activity from Kenya-relevant bookmakers.

Football remained the dominant sport with 66,498 opportunities, accounting for 79.2% of the weekly total. However, its share fell sharply from 89.3% the previous week as other sports gained ground. Tennis increased to 7,867 opportunities (9.4%), while basketball reached 6,200 (7.4%), making the market considerably less concentrated around football.

The profitability profile remained relatively stable. 48.67% of all surebets delivered returns below 1%, while 42.17% fell into the 1–5% range. Together, these categories represented 90.84% of all opportunities. Only 0.83% exceeded the 20% profit threshold, reinforcing the importance of consistent execution and opportunity volume rather than relying on rare high-margin cases.

Opportunity lifespan also remained favorable. More than half of all surebets (52.02%) stayed available for 3–10 minutes, while 24.53% lasted longer than 31 minutes. At the same time, the share of opportunities lasting less than three minutes dropped to 3.73%, giving users a slightly broader execution window across the weekly dataset.

Across the overall WorkBet dataset, BetCity remained the most active bookmaker with 36,554 opportunities, followed by 1xBet (26,605) and Olimpbet (25,781). Within the Kenya-focused segment, 1xBet strengthened its lead with 26,605 opportunities, ahead of Odibets with 9,047 and SportPesa with 6,043.

All three Kenya-relevant bookmakers increased their activity compared with the previous week. 1xBet rose from 19,517 to 26,605 opportunities, Odibets from 6,463 to 9,047, and SportPesa from 4,495 to 6,043. This broad-based increase reflects the wider expansion in arbitrage volume during the reporting period.

In the filtered segment — surebets with a minimum 3% profit and a lifetime of at least three minutes1xBet–BetCity remained the leading pair with 1,555 qualifying opportunities and an average profit of 6.73%. Kenya-linked combinations also remained competitive: BetCity–Odibets generated 435 opportunities at 9.50% average profit, while 1xBet–Odibets produced 254 at 7.46%. BetCity–SportPesa stood out with an average profit of 12.03% and an average lifespan of 98.2 minutes.

The weekly average profit increased from 2.11% to 2.21%, while the longest-lived surebet remained available for 165 hours and 56 minutes. Based on the WorkBet benchmark of $200 turnover over eight hours, estimated earning potential increased to $3,488.

Overall, the latest WorkBet statistics point to a stronger and more diversified week for Kenya-focused arbitrage betting. Total volume increased sharply, 1xBet, Odibets, and SportPesa all recorded higher activity, while the decline in football's market share created a more balanced sports mix.
