Kambi Group plc, a leading global sports betting supplier, has agreed to a multi-year extension of its multi-channel sportsbook partnership with Sun International, one of Africa's premier gaming and hospitality groups.

Under the new agreement, Kambi will continue to provide Sun International with its market-leading sports betting technology and services across the operator's online and retail channels in South Africa. This includes Kambi's award-winning sportsbook platform, advanced pricing and trading capabilities, and popular Bet Builder product.

The extended partnership aims to support Sun International's ambitious growth plans for its SunBet online betting brand, which has become one of the leading online sportsbooks in the South African market since the initial partnership was established in 2017.

Veena Dhesi, Kambi's Senior Vice President of Partner Success, commented: "We are delighted to further expand our successful partnership with Sun International, which has established itself as one of the leaders in the African gaming industry. Since 2017, we have been proud to play our part in supporting their continued success, and this long-term commitment is a testament to both the strength of our product and the level of service we are able to provide to our valued partners."

Simon Gregory, CEO of SunBet, added: "Sunbet is delighted to continue our journey with Kambi. Their best-in-class bookmaker technology has played an important role in our growth as one of the leading online bookmakers in South Africa. This expanded partnership will provide us with the technology and support we need to continue to innovate while offering our customers a better betting experience."
