Josh Keeley joins Luton Town

“We have reached agreement with League One side Luton Town for the transfer of Josh Keeley. All the best for the future, Josh!” - Posted by Tottenham Hotspur on social media “X”

The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but Keeley may have a sell-on clause in his contract, which is an indication that he is highly regarded.

Last season was quite difficult for Josh Keeley. He joined Leyton Orient on loan in August 2024 and played 36 games for the team, 16 of which were clean sheets for his team, and in December he played 660 minutes without conceding a goal.

Josh Keeley captured the nation's attention when he scored a late equaliser in the FA Cup second round against Oldham and then scored a penalty shootout hero in the next round against Derby to earn his side a place in the fourth round against Manchester City. His side, Orient, reached the League One play-off final, with Keeley starting at Wembley, but lost 1-0 to Charlton.

Josh picked up three club awards at the end of the season, including the award for best goal. Orient fans voted him the Young Player of the Year and presented him with a special award for his contribution to the season, including his vital role in helping the team reach the play-off final. The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has become a key figure for his club
